With the help of WTAMU Career Services, Madeline Kleinschmidt was accepted into the United States Foreign Service Internship Program – a nationally competitive two-year program to help students prepare for a career in the Foreign Service. In June 2019, she moved to Washington, D.C. for the summer to work at the United States Department of State in the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM). Dr. Sean Humpherys, Associate Professor of Computer Information Systems and the Pickens Professor of Business, joined the Engler College of Business in 2011. He received B.S. and M.I.S. degrees from Brigham Young University and a Ph.D. in Information Systems Management from the University of Arizona. Last spring he won the 2020 Teaching Excellence Award in the Paul & Virginia Engler College of Business as well as the 2020 Distinguished Graduate Faculty Award at WT. Dr. Humpherys exudes a student-centered and learner-oriented enthusiasm for learning and teaching that is palpable and contagious. Read more
